http://OpenEntry.com is a development organization in Washington DC that has developed a platform enabling any small and medium enterprise (SME) anywhere to create a free e-commerce catalog on Google tools (details at http:OpenEntry.com/Catalog). The catalogs are built on Google tools, instructions are in 57 languages, and they can be managed from a smart phone. SMEs in 45 countries have built their own e-commerce catalogs.
However, most SME owners are older and a bit afraid of computers. As the UNDP documented (below) this opens an opportunity for any computer savvy young entrepreneur to learn to build OpenEntry catalogs in a few hours with our online multilingual ! training modules at http://Training.OpenEntry.com. Then, with a little guidance from a youth employment program, they can immediately start offering to build e-commerce catalogs for the hundreds of local SMEs that need them but don’t know where to start (see attached).
