Thank your for the support from ITU and SIT in the organization of this event. The initiative ams to encourage girls + young women to consider careers in information + communication technologies (ICT) and was celebrated on April 24th. this year.

We had a contest during the event on which idea was best liked in the room and via Twitter about what can be done to increase the participation of girls in studying careers related to ICTs. Our winners!

We had special guests that were visually or hearing challenged so we had a sign language traslator during the event
